Mid-Atlantic Petroleum Properties, LLC (MAPP) was formed in1995. Since its inception, MAPP has constructed quite a few ground-up facilities in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area as well as enhanced already existing sites to meet the desired standards of MAPP. The company is very young but has grown to reach revenues in excess of $110,000,000 dollars. MAPP’s fast advancement in the petroleum and real estate industries has not come without the recruitment of some of the most knowledgeable people in the industries. It takes a cohesive group of people to make MAPP locations successful. This includes recruiting the most qualified Managers and Customer Service Representatives for each individual MAPP location.
With the success of MAPP continuing at a fast pace, each year the MAPP executives including Carlos and May May Horcasitas, Pete Troilo, Tom McDowell, Carlos M. Horcasitas, and Cristina Horcasitas come up with new innovative ways to better reach their clientele. In 1996, MAPP added a Real Estate Development and Property Leasing Division. In 1997, a Petroleum Transportation subsidiary was developed. By 2001, the idea of the Washingtonian Cafe brand name and the image that came along with it was formalized. And most recently in 2005, Downstream Marketing was created in order to differentiate the retail division from the other real estate ventures MAPP has developed.
